In his scathing and wholly appropriate critique of the American and Israeli effort to annihilate the Palestinian people, Rosen goes on to claim that "The international community is directly guilty for this latest massacre." This is surely true given the failure of that community — the states in the world today — to subject the United States and Israel to the demands made upon them by international law.
